what's up? It’s a lovely, sunny Friday, bright and warm today, which means it’s perfect for a little prom fundraiser. Out on the grass in front of Central Classrooms today, several booths have been set up, as well as a table manned by a freshman. While the sun’s still out, you can pay a dragot (it’s going toward prom funds!) and play a round of Truth or Dunk ⁠— find a dunkee and ask them a question. If they won’t answer, or tell a lie, you get a chance to dunk them in the tank!

Today’s line up includes staff, student council members, and student volunteers. It’s a good chance to soak your friends and teachers!

volunteer slots! [CHARACTER A] earns a detention for running up and slapping the target on the booth when [TEACHER OF THEIR CHOICE] has just sat down to take questions.

[STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBER B] can't understand the question a tiny muscheron asks them and they wind up dunked. That little shiitake sure has an arm on her!

how this works! ⬥ Very simply, if you’d like to be a dunkee, create a subheader beneath the “DUNKING BOOTHS” header. If you’d like to ask someone a question, respond to their header.

⬥ If you’d like to ask a specific staffer a question, please indicate who you’re asking in your response. Excepting Mr. Qualls, Ms. Treetops and Bub, all teachers spend at least a little time in a booth.

⬥ Trudy and Tony, being one person for the sake of Student Council, are forced to share their booth together. Sorry you two. ;)

⬥ If your character refuses to answer, or they’re called on a lie, please indicate in the response and we will roll to see if the question asker managed to dunk them.

⬥ Any questions answered are done so publicly, so you can assume your character has overheard a question and its answer whether or not they were the asker!

I posted this and then immediately phased in and out of reality for like 30 minutes

I had to go do a single work thing and then one of my managers told me it's Hawaiian Shirt Friday and I had to ponder the implications of that

Who is eligible to be a dunkee?

"I'm more partial to Wranglers," she says with a wink. It's not technically a lie.

Anyone can volunteer though Student Council and Prom Committee members probably make the most sense for this one!

No one is barred from the privilege of getting soaked.

Also student leaders were probably strongly encouraged to get on up there if anyone wants an excuse to get their kid wet!

"Huh?" Fiona asks. She isn't sure what Wranglers are, but this feels like a cop-out answer.

She's afraid of deep water and is secretly kind of scared, but she figures she doesn't have any secrets anyway.

No one even told her to get up here, she just really wanted to participate!!

"Who is each teacher's FAVOURITE STUDENT? And don't say you like us all EQUALLY."

"I dunno how to be any clearer." Okay that one probably counts as a lie.

"What's your worst class?" Claudia doesn't know Elijah's pain points well enough to definitively nail him, but she thinks he would look really funny soaking wet and wants to try.

"I live for the moment you kids leave my classroom every day," Mr. Berzelius deadpans. Ms. Altizer thinks he should still be dunked, but Ms. Altizer will say that for literally every one of his answers.

"Oh, Peanut, without a doubt," Mr. Hobgood answers without missing a beat. But then again, who doesn't love Peanut?

"Shit I ain't even know any y'all's damn ass names," says Mr. Youngblood, and while that might be true, he could probably use his monthly bath anyway.
