Those students who were inside Pompel & Swint at the time of the fire are brought into the station to give statements after being checked for injuries. No students suffered anything worse than some minor bruising at most — mainly from being shuffled around. They are all unscathed by fire or vines. Students asked to give statements return to campus by 8:30PM.
All other students who were present outside Pompel & Swint’s are immediately sent back to campus escorted by several members of staff.
Curfew is called early tonight at 9PM. Headcounts are done to ensure everyone is present. If you’re missing from this, staff will go looking for you and each House is chaperoned by two different teachers — the Head of House and an additional member of staff.

The fire is mentioned. Mr. Pompel & Mr. Swint are unharmed. Their shop is closed until further notice.
There’s a lengthy talk about fire safety, including a skit that ropes in the other Heads of House. It’s embarrassing, but that’s pretty par for the course.
In light of some reports surrounding the fire, curfew has been lowered to 9PM campus, 10PM House grounds on weekdays for the time being.
Exciting news everyone! Reports of a magical being long thought extinct, the magimagicicada, have been made. The Bureau of Magical Beings is very excited to corroborate these sightings, so if anyone has any details, please tell a member of staff! :)
Also, all of your parents were notified of the fire.
