[At dinner tonight, Trudy finds that someone has placed a carrot cake cupcake generously (and attractively) decorated with cream cheese icing on her tray while she wasn't looking. Whether or not she bites into the mysterious cupcake, the moment she (and only she) lights her fingers on it, the cupcake bursts in a noisy mess of spicy, sugary goodness, leaving behind a single, half-burnt strip of paper in its wake that simply reads, "Prom?"

Carrot cake isn't her favorite, but even if she sensed a trap, her curiosity would always be her undoing. She yelps a startled squawk as cake and icing splatter the front of her clothes. She takes a deep breath, then removes them to clean them, first lifting the hem of her dress, and then seeing that will do no good, with a quick charm.

It takes her a few more moments to notice the note. Ah, the cherry on top of a prank cake (the cherry metaphorical, but the cake very literal). Between the baked goods and the explosion, it can be none other than Jupiter, carrying on from their shoe-based antics. She will have to think on an appropriate response.
