WHAT'S UP, Eddy?

This trip feels overdue, but also like something that could've been avoided. Somehow. Eddy doesn't know how. Too late to figure that out now. Birds, and a rock, and ghost messages, and a memory that isn't his own keep pushing him forward. And now the realization that whatever catastrophe happened before seems to be happening again.

It's no longer just some weird shit to try to make sense of.

Doesn't make him suddenly feel like he's ready to be a hero, either.

He'd meant to keep a clear head tonight, but as the party wore on and more polish got chipped off his nails, he'd indulged in just enough alcohol to take the edge off the anxiety. Doesn't stop him from gripping his wand tighter than necessary as they walk, though. Viola's quiet presence nearby is a comfort.

Hours of freezing charm practice had been crammed into the past couple days to make up for the fact that impeccable is a word that'd never be used to describe his casting abilities. It's helped. Hopefully.

And maybe the basement's just a basement.

On a regular day, Eddy's wardrobe almost seems like it's been selected specifically for raising suspicion whenever he wanders near an establishment late at night. Tonight, instead, he's traded away his leather jacket for his black NASA hoodie. You know, to blend in. It's the only alteration to his usual wardrobe though, eyes still ringed in black and hands shoved into his hoodie pocket as he walks.

Eddy travels light. Aside from his wand, he's got a wallet with a few dragots and a photo of his mamas inside, and some crumbs from whatever Mickey was eating earlier today in his hoodie pocket.
