At any point this weekend, the following students may have witnessed strange things:

If she spends any time in the Artificing Workshop, TA Ramona Grimsditch will find that many of Dr. Ranui's robots have been completely disassembled. The notoriously precise Artificing instructor also seems to have put many of his tools away in unusual places.

If Potions TA Zadie Lovelace happens by the lab for any reason, she will find that many potions ingredients have been depleted to almost nothing. In one of the sinks, it seems as though someone has recently dumped the contents of several bottles down the drain. Zadie can identify at least one of them as a Spine Chilling Cordial based on its color, consistency and the chill it puts in the air.

Hermeticism TA Claudia Vega stops by Ms. Altizer's office to hand over some graded papers and finds her gone. What she sees instead are notebooks scattered about, pages torn and defaced. From what Claudia can tell, everything ruined is Arithmancy work: a break down of the Snoop Crupp prophecy, something from the day of the Telling of the Bees festival diagrammed out, a family tree scribbled beyond recognition.

DADA TA Bijou Pascal is tasked with taking Queen Guin out for a brief stroll today, but once business is done, the Queen seems reluctant to be returned to Mr. Purcell. It's very, very odd. Maybe she was just enjoying the sun?

[DUELLING & WANDWORK MEMBER A] stops by Mr. Purcell's office to ask him a question, and though the door is unlocked, he's nowhere to be found. On a chalkboard are notes for an announcement he's planning on making regarding the last few planned meetings of the year: curriculum will be changing, but it's not clear how from the notes.

When they return to their dorm rooms tonight, Merlin Pletcher and Mary Grace O'Malley each find something sitting on their desk: an old metal kazoo, red and silver. Touching it alone gives the sense that there is a lot of power packed in this little thing. It is no ordinary noise maker. There is a note in an unfamiliar hand: "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, TOOT."
