So I totally saw in the stars that today would be a day of opportunities, but I didn't know for who. Turns out, it was the freshmen.

Good evening, students. Implementation of the annual charmware update has been [...] complicated by unforeseen inconveniences and is taking somewhat longer than anticipated. As an unfortunate side effect of ongoing upgrades, users may have encountered a few oddities. The glyphs I am working on today may’ve caused crossover between channels, which resulted in unwarded messages from the freshman channel or any nonsense the sophomores are scribbling in their inert journals to appear in your entries. Do not fret: your security is otherwise intact. They were unable to read any of your scribblings and the problem should be resolved before the end of the night.

Please report any other glitches you find throughout the month to me in my office. Note date, time and description of the occurrence in no more than 75 words.

And don’t stay up so late.
