While it might not be the end of the night just yet for the rest of the students, it's the end of the night for Merlin and Imogen, who've slipped out early to trade dancing in the crowded Central Green for flying in the cool October air. Glancing in the girl's direction briefly as they walk toward her dorm to fetch their brooms, Merlin smiles to himself and pushes his hands into the pockets of his slacks. It had been a good night. Not the sort of romantic night some of the other pairs may've been aiming for, but he'd never expected that. This was Imogen, after all.
Still, he finds himself wondering if she had a good time too.
Rather than asking, though, he quips with a grin, "Hope it won't be too humiliating that I'm a better dancer and a better flyer than you."
