A dark labyrinthine basement doesn't earn any particular reaction from Merlin. He doesn't find it creepy. He certainly doesn't find it sensual. He doesn't even find it particularly claustrophobic given how far the ceilings are over his head. But who cares about the atmosphere? He's just here to look for books, after all.

As he's passing one of the side rooms, he spots a shadowed figure within and stops to peer at them. Moving his wand reveals Armani but doesn't answer clarify much else.
