Leota Tang's Gift Advice

Buying gifts, especially when you have so many friends, is difficult! So why try to figure that all out yourself? This evening, Patrice is trucking his poor mom-in-a-crystal-ball-in-a-box out into the cafeteria so she can bestow some insight on his helpless classmates. Her presence can be a little shaky and her replies can be a little confusing, but she's willing to try hard for these sweet kids who ~~have to endure~~ provide love and companionship to her ~~pain in the ass~~ perfect son every day.

HOW THIS WORKS

In case you missed it, Leota Tang, Patrice's mom, is very dead, but is also very much inhabiting her crystal ball. She loves kids and loves being helpful, but she can only communicate in images and she has limited contact with everyone (and the mortal plane in general). This leads to a lot of miscommunications and misinterpretations.
Anyone is allowed to ask, but for my own sanity I'm limiting requests to two per character. If this ends up being less time consuming/there's less interest than I anticipate, I can bump this up.
I'll respond to this forever, yolo, gift advice is the best.
GIFT CLARITY: Responses will come in a few flavors - clear, middling, and unclear. What this will look like in practice is if Leota is suggesting a wand repair kit, a clear suggestion will show a wand repair kit, a middling suggestion will show a wand and then a few things like a cute kitchen cloth, oil, and spell-o tape, and an unclear suggestion will show and stick and then... who is that guy? Patrice informs you that it's his old pediatrician from New York City. Weird, mom.

The crystal ball glows all sorts of warm colors as Viola interacts with Leota, and the suggested present is clearly a wooden cello puzzle. Leota seems to suggest etching a huge heart in it, though. She's not calling you out, she's supporting you. Patrice looks at the crystal ball suspiciously.
