what's up?

It's been an eventful 48 hours. First Lionel Qualls, then Ms. Treetops and a culty flyer, and lastly a letter from the Mothman's son. It's time to get some answers.

Friday night, students head off into the woods beyond Thorntrail, in search of the old abandoned train car. It's not easy -- the forest is a dense maze of flowering trees -- but eventually the students reach their destination. But what now?

"You need to find the iron horse's cart where its path was reclaimed in the woods," Lil Mothman Jr wrote, "There, you seek the one who fled -- not from danger, but from guilt. Tell him the moss is threatened, and he will return. He is bound."

Students fan out and investigate the area. Meanwhile, Viola approaches some of her classmates and asks them to help cleanse the space in preparation for her true purpose tonight: contacting Lionel Qualls. If that's who's really out here...

⬥ This is backdated to take place on the evening of Friday, May 1st, although it will be OOCly active y'know... for whenever.

⬥ I'll unfreeze the 'Ask the Spirit Board' section tomorrow at 8PM ET/5PM PT to give a little time to throw a few questions out. Mods will be available for modly interactions from 9PM ET/6PM PT to 10PM ET/7PM PT.

⬥ I'll unfreeze the 'After the Seance' section... after the seance! Feel free to investigate and gawk at will.

⬥ IC, Viola discussed her plans publicly on the journals but was a bit discerning about who she directly asked to participate. OOC, all characters are welcome!

⬥ Hooligans and jokers will be excluded from the seance itself by Viola but she is not confident enough to really do anything about goofing off among the investigators or onlookers.

⬦ INVESTIGATING THE IRON HORSE: Most of you are probably here to seek the one who fled from guilt and warn him that the moss is threatened, or whatever. Did you remember to bring an offering?

⬦ CAST A PATRONUS: Viola may have asked you directly to help cleanse the space for Lionel Qualls or maybe you just noticed everyone else around you suddenly casting and didn't want to feel left out. Either way, were you able to cast your patronus? What memory did you use to help conjure?
