MS. TREETOPS GOT INFECTED BY THE PURPLE FLOWERS. I SAW HER PUT HER HAND ON THE GRILL FIRE AND SMILE AT ME AS MORE PURPLE FLOWERS GREW IN HER HAIR. SHE KNOWS I KNOW AND SHE DOESN'T EVEN CARE. I ALMOST FAINTED BUT NOT FOR REGULAR REASONS. BECAUSE OF FLOWER MAGIC, PROBABLY.

ALSO, POCKET KNOWS I KNOW AND TRIED TO DISTRACT ME. not even TRIED, she DID distract me, there was not an option.

oh they definitely ARE. do we stick her in a freezer??? i don't want to hurt her but i don't know how to help her and apparently none of the adults notice or care????

Orobanche even has purple flowers sometimes. Might be a coincidence. Might be a genetic relative. The plants seem man-made. Hybrid maybe. Can't be sure.

I [...] don't know how farmers get rid of it. I just know it can be used in some potions.

they shrivel and die in ice. these flowers, anyway. i don't think regular weed killer stuff ever worked on them. and i'm not sure if Google dot com has the answer.

so if we can get ms. treetops to a low enough temperature, maybe we can kill the flowers that have taken root in her. but also ??? what happens to her if we do that? she's part human so maybe she'll be okay?
