Despite all appearances, Eddy's pretty jazzed to spend a evening in (slapped together office supply) outerspace as evidenced by the occasional uptick of his lips looking less indigestion-related than usual. The dance part of the dance holds far less appeal and the committee maybe went overboard on the little green abductors, but space is cool, nerds. They're still about to embark on every childhood birthday party dream he'd ever had.
For now, he's still dressed in the black NASA shirt and matching jeans that he wore during dance setup and he's more than happy to attend the dance like this if Chanel doesn't intervene. The only thing technically done is his makeup, which is.. exactly the same as it is every other day of the year, despite the fact he spent twice as long making sure it was smudged just perfectly so. Even after roughly a dozen dances together, he still insists on doing his own makeup - his skills are no match for Chanel and Armani's, but he's uh, just not ready to rock a winged liner.
Careful to turn away whenever one of the girls needs to pull something on, Eddy gives his nearest companion another one of those maybe-gas-maybe-not smiles. His halting attempt at conversation manages to get out, "Uh. Cool. What are you?"
Armani's gown looks very little like a moth so he can't blame Eddy for not guessing it. He spins around to show off the back, holding out his cloak so Eddy can see the moth wing pattern. "Moth!" Yep. Just moth. And if this doesn't appeal to Mothman, he doesn't know what will.
He glances over his shoulder at Eddy, giving him an appraising look. "Is that what you're wearing to the dance?" he asks gently, then briefly glances to Chanel for answers before looking back to him. Poor, sweet Eddy doesn't deserve to have his feelings hurt but... that outfit sucks. If Chanel doesn't stop him, Armani will.
Chanel, for her part, answers like this was a question directed at her in the first place. She's already dressed in a very very short skirted dark astronaut jump suit and boots. She's also acquired space helmets from somewhere. Just as black as the dress. Hers doesn't have a visor, but Eddy's does, because she figured he'd like it.She thinks of her dates, sometimes.
"Yours is hanging in my closet, darling," She motions at it with her free hand, as she's currently sitting cross-legged at her desk, applying appropriately dark purple eye makeup. She doesn't look to see his reaction. It's not like Eddy gets an opinion here.
"Moths are cool," Eddy replies automatically to Armani's explanation, and then immediately regrets speaking, evidenced by the grimace that follows. He's not sure what moths have to do with space being spooky, but he figures Armani has his reasons.
Eddy knows that tone and glances down at himself briefly, opening his mouth to reply but he's saved by Chanel, and just ends up gesturing vaguely in her direction. He's never once picked out his own dance outfit, and that's certainly not going to change tonight. He's also really not sure what to expect here given Chanel's outfit, but he figures he'll know his intended outfit when he sees it.

Dress. Dress. Uh.
"There supposed to be a shirt with this..?"
