You get me, Armani. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to shell out to bundle University with the magic pack.
the magic pack is cute but also makes your sims super OP after maybe an hour of gameplay and is the non-cheaty version of using cheats. i don't mind but i like to play without cheats and now my sim can fill their needs with a potion and replicate objects and i'm like "oh okay"

HMMM. good to know. and yes exactly? i need to wizards. :|a i would have bought it immediately but jenny shamed me into waiting for reasons i can no longer recall and surely still apply but i think i need to stupidly spend some money tonight.

I would love to do an Eddy and Chanel thing at some point this weekend, but not sure yet if it should be pugs or bugs. :|a

island living is overhyped imo 😬 the mermaids are fun for a while but you don't get much use out of them outside of the island living map. the neighbors are also like..... super friendly and come over all the time with pork dishes they end up leaving in front of my house when i don't answer the door. they start to pile up and rot and my sim's constantly having to throw them out dksksksk
there's no significant interactions with the dolphins and the boats are cute but my sims end up leaving them lying around the map instead of putting them in their inventory and i keep losing them. it's an ok expansion but there's nothing about it i'm in love with. i got it bc russ was hawaiian and i wanted him to live on the island but even that got boring pretty quick
also last time i played, you can't swim in other bodies of water on other maps. it's just island living's map
