Sophomores and juniors heading to Home Mag-Ec today will find classes are canceled, the room itself locked up tight. There’s no shortage of whispers about why—especially after certain blind items hit the journals—and at least half the freshmen are sure Mr. Lukashenko is going through a troubling divorce.

Administrator Kwan does very little to clear up any rumors about the sudden cancellation with a brief announcement at the top of the morning.

"Mr. Lukashenko has been placed on administrative leave, effective immediately," she informs the staff and students. "But don’t fret! Home Mag-Ec will return to their regular schedule very soon, because Mr. Potkin has agreed to step up and fill the role for us! You won’t have to miss a single class.

... Except this one, I guess."

Following the announcement, Ms. Kwan asks Harrison Hartshorn to come speak with her and Dr. Ranui when he has a chance. He’s not in trouble, she assures him, it’s just a check-in. Also, does he happen to have an extra key to Mr. Lukashenko’s office? There seem to be some… unapproved security spells in place there.

Anyway, Mr. Potkin will need a little help settling into his new position, so thank you for your patience in advance! He’s assured Ms. Kwan that he’s definitely done most of this stuff before, it's just been a couple years since his days as a stay-at-home dad.

What is this feeling, swirling in Jupiter's gut? Is it...fear? No. Confusion? Mm, maybe. Disappointment? Sadness...?

You know what, it's probably just gas.

Mr. Potkin seems like a cool dude at least, she guesses, but she gets the feeling they won't be learning about muggle panini presses much, anymore.

Felicity really hopes Harrison is doing okay with this news. She tries to telepathically convey her sympathy to him. And when that wholly fails, she winks at him. But slow, and somber-like.

"Wait... is this about the pudding?" Armani whispers to the person next to him. He seems genuinely confused and more than a little distressed. The plot of the Puddinggate scandal thickens.

Kermit has his hand to his heart throughout the entire announcement, mouth agape, eyes shimmering. If there's anything Kermit knows, it's that eventually most adults will disappoint and leave you, but that doesn't mean he can't be sad about it.

"Rest in pudding," he whispers to himself, like Lukashenko has died and is being laid to rest in his ill-gotten pudding.

Which, maybe he thinks that's what's happening.

He did not expect this, but that's what happens when you've got tunnel vision and don't make eye contact with adults. Laszlo should ~~definitely~~ probably be in Home Mag-Ec but Mr. Lukashenko's unpredictability made him nervous and now Mr. Potkin's unwavering love and support... also makes him nervous.

Learning basic life skills just wasn't meant to be.

Are you kidding? Harrison is a horrible mix of frustrated, disappointed, and, honestly, kind of pissed off. He knows this isn't his fault, but a tiny, itty bitty part of him kind of feels like maybe he should've been keeping a closer eye on Mr. Lukashenko. Even though he's an adult. Ugh.

He's, of course, more than willing to speak with Ms. Kwan and Dr. Ranui whenever they're ready, though he doesn't have a key. He also is clear that he's happy (well, not happy, but you know) to help Mr. Potkin however much he needs, of course.

Going forward, Percy Potkin will be assuming all of Lu Lukashenko's responsibilities in addition to his own. Welcome to a new adventure, Home Mag-Ec kids. ;)
