I bought a journal at the library but it’s magically and manually coded. I’ve cracked a bit of it. I was hoping it was filled with heartache but I think it’s about whatever happened to Mr. Qualls in the late 80s.

Mr. Crockett has some family drama, apparently. An accident of some sort.

look at you go, nancy drew. already cracking an old mysterious code. don't know why everyone's so hung up on why qualls is dead, though. sometimes people just die and usually the "how" is boring.
