Hi! It's me, your resident know-it-all conspiracy theorist. I hate this. I can't wait to trip on a rock and get brain damage. Anyway, two things:

1) There's something in the sorting path ghost hole

2) There is a not zero percent chance that the intrepid staff that definitely solved the problem and did not at all majorly biff it like we did still managed to somehow come back possessed and they are, in fact, the plants

Three, and someone's leg, at the very least. And whoever died in Paw Paw. I've wanted to say, I've found a new memory. We're working on returning it to Zipporah Crockett, but in the meantime, some things I've learned include:
1) The weeds are a personification of hunger. Greed. They sort of behave the same way a dementor would, because they feed on emotions, but they're not inherently dark, thus handily immune to most anti-dark magic detectors/defenses. That's why they were Impossible to stop last time. You can't just quell a hunger without feeding it.
2) But they were able to seal it because the muggles who tried to perform the summoning ritual botched it up, so with the help of the magimagicicada (side note, our beloved Al Falco had some suspect verbiage, here,) they were able to contain it with glyphs. The town and school were both vacated.
3) They figured that out last time from some coal seam creepers. I wonder if any are hanging around.

Unclear. Falco just said they planned to use the magimagicicada to seal it. Quickly amended to ask them to help, or something, but it still gave me the creeps.
