"I GOT IT!" Cedar calls out, leaning way too far over the edge of the canoe to reach their paddle. They don't got it. It's still just beyond the reach of their fingertips and the canoe is tipping perilously. "ALMOST."
They throw their hand out to Bijou. "Lemme use yours to scooch mine closer."
It's not exaaaactly that Bijou is afraid of falling in the water. It's more specifically falling into the water with Cedar because it's never just one thing with them. A submerged Cedar could set off an unimaginable chain reaction of events that could leave both them and the river changed forever.
Okay, okay, maybe that's a little dramatic, but when isn't Bijou?? She clutches the canoe (and her oar) that much tighter when Cedar reaches for it, but the whole thing wobbles precariously. Her face scrunches up.
"Oooh, you know, there's a spell..." Bijou trails off. She's not sure if there's a rule against magic during Adventure Club, but she does know the less magic and Quackenbushes mix the better.
Cedar takes the oar from Bijou and reaches it out toward their own. They're so close to getting it, and if they can just hook it with the—just as Cedar catches their oar with the handle of Bijou's, there's a splash, and the second oar plops into the water.
"DON'T WORRY," Cedar announces, far too loud to keep literally anyone from worrying. "This is all part of my PLAN," they continue, pulling a shoelace from their boot, and this already doesn't seem like a terribly well thought out plan. "I just need a ROCK and maybe a firework." This is officially a bad plan.
CANOEING (Morning)
CANOEING with CHAOS
They throw their hand out to Bijou. "Lemme use yours to scooch mine closer."
