The good news is we’re learning a little more about the plants in Alchemy. Turns out, if you focus right on them, they’ll wilt. No weed killer yet, but you know, progress takes time.

Some updates from our dear friend Mr. Swint.
He said he didn't recognize the cicada, but when he touched it, he shivered. It didn't buzz this time. But the whole room went awfully quiet. And then he started babbling about somewhere called Paw Paw, which he, apparently, hasn't thought about in years. Then he said he'd never seen my cicada before in his life, and then he took a nap.

I think our first question here is why is Paw Paw a place, and also where is it, and I'd like to diversify our knowledge base, so I've asked the whole school.

Spring is just around the corner, whether we like it or not. I think it’s time to buckle down. What’s everyone doing on Friday? I want to do a study lock-in where none of us get to leave until we’re proficient in at least two categories each.

As the Potions TA, I'll do my best to make myself available to anyone that has questions or would like to put in some additional practice before exams. Just let me know! I'll also be holding an open brewing day this Saturday; I'll be in the classroom from 8AM on and we can go over anything you all want.

This will be the last weekend everyone's on campus before the ski trip so [...] consider it? I'll make it fun too! Somehow.
