do you ever forget you can just go places in the blink of an eye? and then you remember and it's like!! oh !!!!! yes !! magic !!! i can do that, can't i???

anyway, i'm in new orleans (because i can???) and i don't know where to find the place for wixen. i asked around (VERY slyly, don't worry!) and i learned that there is a wizard world convention here in january. but it has noting to do with wixen, it's just a comic convention.

i'm having a lot of fun, though! and i think it would be fun to visit other places too, if i had a tour guide.

so i guess what i wanted to ask is... does anyone want to show me their cool magic town? or come with me to explore cool magic towns? (it doesn't have to be today! but! some time during the break?)

maybe i should run a no-magic dungeons and dragons campaign where everyone's a ~~norma~~ regular muggle just trying to get by.

ohh hotels are so much fun!! make sure to book one with a free breakfast buffet! especially if it's for Big Bed !

what abouuuut the 26th? i might be able to visit constanza in brooklyn that same day.

That's a game thing, right? Being a Muggle seems so hard.

I'm just going to Des's, but I'll whine at him to make me breakfast if they don't have any there.

The 26th is perfect! You can see where Mom and Dad live their un-lives when they're not shoved in boxes at school.

We are spoiled. I guess you probably don't use much magic at home, huh? What do your parents think of everything?

nooo. our house is also connected to our funeral home so we can't use a lot of flashy spells and definitely no obviously magical items muggle clients might see. before we became of-age there was no magic in the house at all. our parents think it's very neat though!! our dad loves what he's seen of the magical world. we bring him back magic items when we can.

That sounds so rough. I used magic for everything. The statute of secrecy can be a pain sometimes... I'd be pretty excited if I suddenly learned about magic too, so I don't blame them. We can find him something fun in Bleakcross.

Merlin's arms look pretty good, he can probably take care of whatever. There are just a lot of weird people there. Like, the ??? kind of weird, not the normal fun weird.

it's not so bad if it's just what you're used to. magic feels like a luxury. i don't think the novelty will ever wear off, you know? even when i'm all grown and have magic chandeliers and switchless walls of my own.

our dad really likes dolls, the more haunted the better, but the regular magic kind that moves on its own is just as (if not more) exciting.

he's very athletic! and i've seen him dodge an entire airborne sophomore! he could probably dodge a ??? kind of person. if all else fails, i will cry very loud and very snottily and hope the weird person feels too uncomfortable and leaves.

That's kind of nice. Even though I'm used to magic, a lot of it is pretty fun still. I think you're going to have fun at my house.

Hmm, I think I have a good shop to take you too. I can charm up some things to move no problem, but we might be able to get something that's at least got a haunted vibe to it.

He is, and he's quick. He'd give a ??? kind of person some trouble, so I wouldn't worry. Can you just cry on command?

i think so too! a very magic-y magic town sounds really fun.

the haunted vibe is important ! if you don't feel comfortable sleeping in the same room as it then what's the point?

sometimes i can cry if i think too hard about something sort of sad. i'm sure i could cry in a moment of genuine stress!
