Honey slams an allen wrench down on the work table and it makes a startlingly loud noise in the otherwise quiet space. She doesn't mean to be annoying; the thought of someone stealing from Dr. Ranui just distresses her immensely and she has no better way of expressing that ?emotion. Frankly, she's still not over last month's incident.
"We should catalog," she decides abruptly and you can almost see the little list of priorities she stores in her brain shuffling orders. "So that we know if something goes missing."

"We can do that," Ramona says in a way that suggests she think it'd be a waste of time. "But even if we know what we take that's not going to stop them from taking it."
She's also rankled, but a little better at keeping a lid on it than Honey is. Thank all her recent practice quieting her mind in Occlumency class. As Honey stews beside her, she narrows her eyes and surveys the Artificing workshop. The barn is a nightmare, security-wise. Even with Honey's help it'd take her months to even remotely Muscheron-proof it. But the pests seem like they might be capable of learning from their mistakes, and that improves the range of options available to Dr. Ranui's unrequested defense squad.
"What if we set up some traps?" she asks. "Humane traps." Of course.

Honey cocks her head, clearly intrigued. Carefully, she starts to pick up the equipment and scraps in front of her on the bench, clearing out a 2x2 work space for her newest, worst project.
"Is is inhumane if we don't release them?" She asks as she picks up and admires a somehow-menacing pair of pliers.

"Communication is key," Honey obviously parrots from early childhood programming, providing unimpeachable proof that public access television benefits kids.
Sort of. She may not have internalized every Everything Bagel Street lesson, because next, she whispers, "I want them to know fear."

"Just a little fear," Ramona agrees, because they're still trying to be humane. She grabs Honey's notepad and flips to a blank page to sketch out a rudimentary live trap. These will only take them an hour to make, and they're pretty innocuous contraptions. "What's good Muscheron bait?" she asks, trying to remember what they'd had in their little illegal shoe train.

"Something shiny," Honey replies, peering over Ramona's shoulder at her first draft blueprint. "Valuable. But not too valuable. In case we do a bad job."
