Harrison is thrown a little off guard by how easy that argument went, and he hopes that maybe the girl will just leave him alone now. But, that definitely doesn't seem to be in the cards when she settles in close to him. Much too close. He scoots away, even as he does finally turn to look at the fallen star she's holding out.
"I saw one land over there, but I didn't go look at it. Does it do anything?"
"Glows!" Maisy replies, because... look at it, Harrison? Obviously it glows. She lets him get away with scooting away from her, but only because she figures he's trying to get a better look at the star. She holds it up above their heads, closing one eye as she looks at it against the dark night sky. "Pocket always makes such pretty things."
"Exciting," Harrison deadpans, although just glowing is better than the alternative of something really bizarre, which he wouldn't put past Pocket at all. As Maisy holds it above their heads his eyes turn skyward again, and though he won't verbally admit it, he at least admits to himself that it is pretty. But, he's a partypooper at heart.
"This part is nice. But we'd be just fine by the lake, too."
Maisy's hands plop back down into her lap as she leans in closer to try to gauge whether or not Harrison is being serious. Maybe he's not the smartest person in senior year after all (good news for Lionel).
"Are you kidding?" she asks in a tone of voice that communicates the extra eleven question marks she'd add if she were writing. "This is so much better than drinking lite beer by the lake. Look at where we are!"
Harrison, predictably, leans away, pulling a bit of a face. The other senior really is too comfortable getting into other people's bubbles.
"It just seems unnecessary. If you were drunk by the lake you wouldn't be unhappy, I bet." He doesn't feel like he should have to explain himself anymore than that, so he takes a drag and blows the smoke away from Maisy again.

"Maybe if I didn't know this was an OPTION," Maisy says, rolling her eyes. Harrison is being really very grumpy about this. She thinks he needs to have a little more fun, and hey, she has a good idea about how to make that happen.
Without warning him, she plants both her hands on his shoulders and barrel rolls them towards the edge of the cloud. She's small, but surprisingly strong for her size, and she's headed right for the drop off.
Well, this is definitely not on the list of things Harrison is expecting Maisy to do. He's startled enough that he makes a disgruntled sound and drops his cigarette into the clouds, and she manages to get in a roll or two of him before he's trying to shove her off.
"What is wrong with you?"
He sounds genuinely angry, which is pretty uncommon for him.
Strong though she may be, Maisy is also small, and it's not difficult for Harrison to push her off. She flops back in the clouds, just a foot away from the edge, and flings her arms out in exasperation.
"Nothing!" she insists. "You have wings, you would've been fine."
Maisy dodges him by squirming towards the edge. No fun at all.
"Better save me!" she declares before rolling off of it entirely. A cursory glance after her does make it appear as if she is just going to willingly fall to her death, since she hasn't employed the use of her wings yet.
This outcome is less satisfying than flinging her off the edge by himself, but Harrison supposes it's fine also. While he does look down to see if she's going to save herself, he isn't overly worried when it looks like she might not - Pocket isn't about to let any of them die. He fishes out another cigarette from his pocket and lights it.
Maisy does, eventually, hit another cloud - one which is supremely springy. In a fine bit of slapstick comedy, she bounces off that one, hits another, and pinballs her way down until she sinks deep into one that has the consistency of a pile of feathers. This whole experience was very disorienting and not very fun, but when she does finally get her bearings about her she looks back up at Harrison and blows a raspberry in his direction.
