THE LODGE: Presley and Patrice
"There's plenty of time to study." Not that he's going to use it, and not that there actually is. "And coasting is a noble art. Look, after your heroics earlier you deserve a break. You've clearly got a lot of tension going on with how hard you're writing."
THE LODGE: Presley and Patrice
He stares down at his worksheet with a look of critical distaste. His handwriting's gotten almost sloppy in the past five minutes. Ugh. "Surely one of your other roommates would be willing to humor you."
THE LODGE: Presley and Patrice
"I don't want to bug anyone else. And you're my oldest friend, you get first dibs on me."
THE LODGE: Presley and Patrice
He throws his pen down on the page. "Congratulations. You've ruined my concentration." Then he picks up the pen and carefully caps it again, because it's a nice pen and he doesn't want it to leak or dry out. "For the record, I would sooner push you off that balcony to your death than go skiing."
THE LODGE: Presley and Patrice
"That's not saying much - you always want to push me to my death just a little bit," he starts, at least slightly self-aware. "Let's go duel, I bet I can find a good space for it." It's a little bit of an olive branch, but not much of one given that he also enjoys dueling. "I'll let you try to hex my face."
THE LODGE: Presley and Patrice
"The only trying will be you trying not to cry." Dueling during a school trip is... probably not a good idea, especially when it comes to two boys who are far from novice duelists, but Presley isn't about to back out when Patrice has that annoying look on his face. "If I win, will you leave me alone?"
